The moon has landed
on earth, printing her
craters and hills, steamy
ponds and flat deserts
on this half-frozen maze
we call the Mississippi

Nora Murphy was born at St. Joe’s Hospital in downtown Saint Paul, was raised in Minneapolis, and now lives in Highland Park, just a few blocks from where her mom grew up.
