A rock on the ground,

next to the rock a tree,

on the tree is a bird,

its feathers like the river,

in the river’s a fish,

scales that shine like the moon,

after the moon’s the sun,

the sun shines down on the ground,

and on the ground,

a little rock.

Anna Musielewicz is thirteen years old. She wrote this poem when she was a fifth grader at L’Etoile du Nord French Immersion School. Anna loves many kinds of art, but her favorites are drawing and playing the piano.
