Dear Saint Paul Almanac Supporters:

I am writing to thank you so much for supporting the Saint Paul Almanac and to ask for your continuing financial support at this very momentous time in our history!

After fifteen years as founder and executive director of the Saint Paul Almanac, I am passing the torch to Pamela Fletcher Bush, who will serve as our new executive director and publisher. Pamela has worked with us for many years–as a board member, executive editor, community editor, Storymobile crew member, and more. She is recognized in the community as a writer herself and as associate professor and co-director of the nationally recognized Critical Studies of Race and Ethnicity program at St. Catherine University. I can’t think of a better person to take on the joyous work of connecting our community through our stories and art.

As I transition to my own next steps, I want to thank you for your support and love toward our little organization. When I started in 2005, I was full of passion and determination to create a space to publish your stories and art, and that spark has only continued to grow brighter.

The Saint Paul Almanac recognizes that creative spark in each of us and the power of our stories to share the truth of our lives and our hearts. That sharing is what has connected us and brought us closer together as a community all these years, and I am so grateful to carry your friendships and your inspiration with me into the future.

Thank you for all of your enthusiasm, commitment, and investment. I encourage you to show your continued support with a year-end contribution to the Saint Paul Almanac as we launch our next generation!

Let’s do this!

Thank you, thank you, thank you.

Kimberly
