Claudette M. Webster
Board Chair
Claudette M. Webster is a faculty member of the Dougherty Family College, at the University of St. Thomas, where she teaches English. Claudette is Board President of Saint Paul Almanac and a board member of Redbird Chapbook Press. Ms. Webster is also a writer of poetry and prose. She was recently published in Let the Black Woman Say Ashe.
Katie Vagnino
Board Secretary
Katie Vagnino is a poet and writer who has served on the Board of Saint Paul Almanac since 2020. Her book Imitation Crab (Finishing Line Press) came out in 2021, and she has contributed essays and articles to the Minnesota Tribune and other outlets nationwide. She holds degrees from Yale and Emerson College and has taught creative writing at UW Eau Claire and Roosevelt University, as well as at the Loft Literary Center in Minneapolis.
Scott Wolf
Board Treasurer
Scott Wolf has worked and volunteered for over 20 years at various nonprofits large and small with a broad background in development, finance, operations, and management. Currently, Scott holds the position of Operations Manager at Ethiopia Reads, an NGO focused on children’s literacy and libraries in Ethiopia. He also works part-time at Airport Foundation MSP supervising Travelers Assistance volunteers at the Minneapolis-St Paul International Airport.
Rachel Anderson
Board Member
Rachel Anderson is a recent graduate of St. Cloud State University with a degree in Studio Art. She currently works in Bloomington as a Pricing and Operations Administrator for an HVAC distribution company. Rachel shares a love for literature and visual art, and she spends her free time combining the two.
Jameelah Crawford
Board Member
Jameelah Crawford is a writer and emerging filmmaker of Mexican (Aztec) and African American heritages from Saint Paul, Minnesota. Her work explores life, love, loss, and other themes of human experience. Jameelah recently completed Silencing the Shame, a short documentary through SPNN’s DocU Program. Her writing has been featured in Aya Collective’s Finding the Voice Within and the Saint Paul Almanac.
Nivedha Manohar
Board Member
Nivedha Manohar is a writer who values stories that reflect diverse cultures and shared human experiences. She brings a decade of experience as a Business Intelligence analyst, combining analytical insight with a passion for storytelling and community engagement. Nivedha is committed to fostering inclusive spaces where creativity and diverse perspectives can thrive.
Yara Omer
Board Member
Yara Omer is an educator who writes in Arabic and English. Her work has been featured in several anthologies and journals. She participated in the Saint Paul Almanac’s Community Editor Apprenticeship and edited for The Cracked Walnut. Yara finds refuge in nature, astronomy, and art.
