Congratulations to our filmmakers! RONDO: Beyond the Pavement was selected to play at YoFi MicroFest Black History Month Showcase at the YoFi Digital Media Art Center in Yonkers, New York, on Saturday, February 9!

Also in: RONDO: Beyond the Pavement will screen at SXSW EDU on Monday March 4, 2019, in Austin, Texas. SXSW EDU is one of the largest education conferences in the world. It takes place a week before the SXSW Music Festival.

After the showing of the film and student panel at SXSW EDU, High School for Recording Arts (HSRA) and Saint Paul Almanac will discuss their partnership as an example of how we partner in the community to create pathways of opportunity for young people.

Rondo: Beyond the Pavement has been accepted to compete in the Indie Short Fest in Los Angeles. This is an IMDB qualifying competition. We will be notified by March 23, 2019 if we won or placed. Winners are automatically sent to the Los Angeles International Film Festival. You can read more about the Indie Short Fest here.

On February 7, KARE 11 shared our story about needing funds to bring our crew to film festivals where RONDO: Beyond the Pavement is showing.

A longer story will air this week on KARE 11.

Please donate to Saint Paul Almanac here to help support our work and to bring our film crew to film festivals where RONDO: Beyond the Pavement is showing.

Thank you for your belief in art to strengthen community!
